Across many traditions, Samhain has been regarded as a threshold time, when the boundary between the seen and unseen feels especially thin. A time to remember those we have loved, to listen a little more deeply, and perhaps to become more receptive to the ways connection continues beyond physical presence.

The ordinary noise quiets, the unseen feels a little closer, and we are invited to remember, listen, and open to the possibility that love and connection do not end simply because form changes.

Sound and vibration can help quiet the inner noise, increase the capacity to listen … tap in.

What to expect
✨ Gongs, crystal & Tibetan bowls: sending cascades of sonic vibrations, immersing you in waves of expansive, transformative frequencies for body, mind and field.
✨ Nervous-system rest; heart-field expansion; mental and energetic clearing
✨ Deep inner journeying, tapping into intuition, ancestral and soul healing - varying depending on each person and each session. Can be like a psychedelic journey without psychedelics.

Bring a yoga mat, blanket, pillow and whatever makes you comfortable.
Leave with your field tuned and your intentions carried by inner rhythm.

Reserve early — limited spots.

Our Sunday Sound Healings offer:
✨ Integration after activation
✨ Nervous system stabilization
✨ Sonic coherence as momentum builds
✨ A grounded field for embodied clarity

We gather to land what is wanting to arise, grow, expand. Sound helps anchor your energy and bring ease and flow to your life.

*Scalar Coherence refers to ‘signal’ processing, which we are all doing every moment in every interaction and experience. Every experience, every emotion, every thought is a wave, moving through your system. Sound and vibration works with these interference patterns and relationships to help us return to coherence. It could be explained as “entraining waveform intelligence” or the natural way our bodies and environments communicate; through vibration, frequency, and pattern.

Register via the book now button below. Please arrive 10-15 minutes early to get settled. Dress in comfortable clothing and bring a yoga mat, blanket, eye pillow/mask and pillow for your comfort. There are options to lay on the floor on a mat or a couple chair options. If you book and cannot make it, PLEASE cancel the registration preferably 2 days prior. Less than 24 hours notice will be charged the full fee. Thank you <3.

Restore yourself to a state of energetic, physical and mental well-being. I look forward to seeing you there….

So much of life asks us to pay attention outward. What comes next. What needs to be done. What someone else needs. What is happening around us.

But awareness also begins much closer in. Where we observe our inner self… what we are feeling, what our body is telling us. What thoughts are parading through and how they are making us feel… what feels open or contracted… what am I sensing before I explain it away or rush past it?

The more familiar we become with our own inner landscape, the easier it can be to recognize the quieter signals that are always present.

Sound can help create that space.

This Sunday, we’ll settle into the resonance of crystal singing bowls, gongs, and other instruments, allowing the body and mind to soften enough to notice what may otherwise be missed.

Not necessarily to find an answer. Maybe just simply to listen. To yourself. To the spaces thought is moving through.

The more deeply we know ourselves, the more clearly we can recognize what is subtle. As we come into the Samhain time where the veil is thin, I invite you to tap in.

The final of the three-part September journey here after opening and rebalancing, we are now shifting to embodying:

Sept 13 — Open → Sept 20 — Rebalance → Sept 27 — Embody

September 27 — EMBODY
Integration • self and other • boundaries • wholeness • illumination • reclaiming energy • standing in your own centre.

Where is balance actually asking me to become more fully myself?

Sometimes we may assume balance means compromise, equal portions, or keeping everything calm. Aries–Libra presents a richer tension: me and we; autonomy and relationship; giving and receiving; honoring myself without closing myself to another.

Themes of integration, embodiment, releasing relational patterns, reclaiming energy, boundaries without walls, giving and receiving, and coming back into one's own centre.

Back to the conversation about beliefs. We can give so much attention to maintaining equilibrium with other people: their expectations, judgments, beliefs, needs… that we lose contact with our own inner signal. The invitation isn't necessarily to reject the other side. It might be:

Can I remain connected without abandoning myself?

And because we are still in the energy of the Full Moon (Sept 26), it has more of a seeing clearly / illuminating / culmination / integration. Something planted or sensed earlier in the month can become more visible.

If you are working with the Equinox in a three-part September journey:

Sept 13 — Open → Sept 20 — Rebalance → Sept 27 — Embody

Balance / Threshold moment….the pause between opening and embodying.

Here the Equinox reminds us that balance is not necessarily a place we arrive. It is something we continually return to. And coming back to the question from last week: What does balance feel like from inside my own body rather than as an ideal I’m trying to achieve?

As the season begins to turn, this sound bath offers a space to pause, listen, and notice where balance may be asking to be restored within you.

Where have you been overextended? What are you ready to soften? What has completed its season? And what might need more space, attention, or nourishment as you move forward?

The Equinox is a threshold, a meeting place between light and dark, movement and stillness, what has been and what is becoming.

Rather than striving for perfect balance, perhaps the invitation is simply to notice. To listen. To recalibrate. Sometimes creating balance is about letting go. And sometimes it is about allowing more in. More ease. More beauty. More connection. More of what nourishes and supports us.

To release what no longer needs to be carried. To receive what is ready to arrive. And to return, once again, to your own centre.

Come as you are and allow the sound to meet you there.

Somatics & Sound: An Equinox Journey.

Co-hosted by Taylor Avender and Dr. Shekinah Veitch

Remember where the centre is… move one piece, correct one degree, and shift the whole trajectory.

As we approach the Equinox, a natural point of balance between light and dark, we invite you into an evening of movement, sound, and intentional pause.

We’ll begin with a guided somatic movement practice, blending yoga with deeper body awareness and exploration. From there, we’ll move into stillness as crystal singing bowls, gongs, and other instruments create an immersive sound experience.

This gathering is an opportunity to notice what your body is holding, soften what is ready to shift, and reconnect with a greater sense of balance within yourself.

We may explore themes of mindfulness, forgiveness, change, letting go, boundaries, energetic connection, and the spaces within us and between us that are asking for more attention, or more freedom.

Simply come as you are.

Move. Listen. Notice. Release. Open. Allow. Flow.

And perhaps leave a little more spacious than you arrived.

Please refer to “How to Prepare for a Sound Session & What to Expect.” if you have not attended one with me before. Fee $65 + tax

As we begin to approach the fall season, join in for a sound bath to help you shift. If you are still feeling effects from the fires or simply the busyness of summer and want to take a little time to restore and integrate … take a moment to join in a deeply restorative sound bath this Sunday, it’ll be worth your time..

If you want to work with the upcoming Equinox in a three-part September journey book in for all 3…:

Sept 13 — Open → Sept 20 — Rebalance → Sept 27 — Embody

Sept 13. We’re just coming out of the September 11th New Moon, with the Moon moving through Libra in this early waxing phase. This is much more of an opening to possibility, receiving, restoring inner equilibrium, listening for what wants to emerge, and allowing rather than forcing. …. themes of balance, relationship, harmony, reciprocity, beauty, and noticing where we may be overcompensating in one direction. “Less is more! The details count. When in doubt... Throw it out.”

What am I making space to receive?
Where can I soften enough to allow something new?
What does balance feel like from inside my own body rather than as an ideal I’m trying to achieve?

This sits within the larger 2026 backdrop of several slow-moving planets that changed signs and are settling into relatively new territory:: Uranus in Gemini, Saturn and Neptune in Aries, Pluto in Aquarius, Jupiter in Leo. Which can feel less like maintaining familiar structures and more like learning how to orient ourselves when the old map no longer quite works. This dovetails beautifully with the recent exploration of moving from rigid belief toward attention and discernment.

The Mayan-inspired “Galactic New Year” turns on 26 July, and the Lion’s-Gate portal begins opening a few days later.
Think of 2 August as an atmospheric still-point: the very first week of a new galactic cycle, the Sun already in Leo, heart-fire warming, but not yet roaring.

Why attend
• Clear leftover static from the past 13-moon year
• Tune solar plexus + heart before the 8/8 Lion’s Gate peak on Aug 8.
• Align with fresh creative momentum

What to expect
✨ Gongs, crystal & Tibetan bowls: sending cascades of sonic vibrations, immersing you in waves of expansive, transformative frequencies for body, mind and field.
✨ Nervous-system rest; heart-field expansion; mental and energetic clearing
✨ Deep inner journeying, tapping into intuition, ancestral and soul healing - varying depening on each person and each session.

JULY 19 ▸ “Basket of Abundance” & “Lion’s-Gate Threshold” (pre-Leo Sun & pre-full moon)

Sky notes (late Cancer)

• Sun prepares to cross into Leo (July 22).

• Venus approaches Regulus (heart of the Lion) later in the month.

• Lunar phase: waxing gibbous → building illumination but not yet peak.

Energetic thread
The week before Sun-into-Leo is often felt as heart-courage revving. It’s a perfect time to strengthen solar plexus + heart coherence before the collective “lion roar” begins.

"A rare "basket" or cradle configuration continues into a "double basket of abundance" (with the peak time being July 19-24) between Pluto in Aquarius, Neptune in Aries, Uranus in Gemini, and Jupiter in Leo, and now the Moon in Libra all at 4 degrees in your chart, signaling a powerful shift into faster-moving timelines and entirely new creative potentials. The basket aspect is a container for evolutionary change." (Astrologers Molly McCord & Ulrika Sullivan) It is key to note that during this window the personal planets: the Sun, Moon, Mercury, Venus, and Mars, are held inside this cradle / basket by Pluto, Neptune, Uranus and Jupiter.

Maximize the cosmic energies by joining this Sunday's Sound bath.

“Dream-Forge”

Mars trine Neptune: action meets dream-vision.

Mercury in shadow preparing to enter Leo → words warming up, stories looking for bold expression.
In mid-Cancer season the collective may feel mushy/emotional. Mars–Neptune turns that mist into motivated imagination, a moment to forge dream images into actionable sparks.

"A rare "basket" or cradle configuration forms between Pluto in Aquarius, Neptune in Aries, Uranus in Gemini, and Jupiter in Leo all at 4 degrees in your chart, signaling a powerful shift into faster-moving timelines and entirely new creative potentials. The basket aspect is a container for evolutionary change." (Astrologer Molly McCord)

“The Sirius Gate”

Sun conjunct Sirius (≈ 14 ° Cancer) July 5 → ancient cultures marked this as a heliacal rising / “Dog Star portal.” We’ll gather just after the Sun meets Sirius — the brightest star we see. Cultures once marked this as a doorway for higher teachings. Think of it as the sky’s ‘other sun,’ sending clarity from a different octave. Our sound journey will tune to that frequency, letting any residual static fall away.

Earth at aphelion (farthest from the Sun, ~July 4) → subtle “pause” in the solar charge. Aphelion is the point in Earth’s elliptical orbit where we are farthest from the Sun, which happens once a year, around July 6. Early July is where the Sun’s influence (warmth, outward motion) is at its widest reach before slowly “drawing in” again toward perihelion. Earth taking a long exhale, expansion completed, brief still-point, then a slow inhale. Checking internal alignment before the Leo season “fire” rises. A natural moment to reset the body’s solar-driven rhythms (sleep, adrenals, autonomic balance).
“Sun-fire is at its most diffused; let’s use the lull to rest, sync, and prepare for the next arc of outward energy.”

Ride the Wind of Change: Uranus in Gemini

We stand at a cosmic threshold. On April 25th, Uranus, the planet of awakening and disruption, shifts from Taurus into Gemini, marking a profound transition from Earth to Air, from density to velocity.

This shift signals:

The release of material attachments

The awakening of higher thought

The acceleration of synchronicity and symbolic communication
